Who We Are

Speechies.app is the digital tools side of Speechies, a speech-language pathology practice based in California. We build apps and resources that help speech-language pathologists, educators, and other professionals work more efficiently — so they can spend less time on paperwork and more time with clients.

Founded by Chelsea Bennett, MA, CCC-SLP, Speechies combines hands-on clinical experience with practical technology. Chelsea has worked directly with children and families through in-home therapy, teletherapy, and parent coaching, and that frontline perspective drives everything we build. Our tools are designed by a clinician, for clinicians.

Created by Chelsea Bennett, this assessment tool makes oral-peripheral exams easier and more engaging — especially with children. Includes a clinician protocol that guides evaluation of oral structures and function, covering articulation, voice, fluency, and more. Designed for ages 3-12 and available as a physical binder.

Beyond apps and tools, Speechies.com provides direct speech-language pathology services in California:

Parent Coaching — strategies for families with children birth to 5 experiencing language delays, helping parents build communication skills into everyday routines
Speech Teletherapy — virtual sessions via Zoom with a licensed speech-language pathologist, including parent coaching for ages 0-4
In-Home Therapy — direct speech-language therapy delivered in the home, where children feel most comfortable and skills generalize more naturally
